National Lottery Authority (NLA) Deputy Director General for Administration, Hon. Ennish L. Fahnbulleh has named structural, technological, behavioral, technical upscaling and economic shifts as hallmark for growth in the gaming and gambling industry of Liberia.
In the wake of mountain calls for the reintroduction of the lotto game, Hon. Fahnbulleh expressed his commitment of closely working with Hon. Reginald Kpan Nagbe, Director General of the authority to fast-track the establishment of the game which he noted will create job opportunities and boost revenue generation.
He also mentioned that revenues from the lotto game will also go toward significantly contributing to charity, technical upscaling and improving the authority and industry.
The NLA Deputy Director General for Administration (DDGA) stated that as the value of the Gaming Industry in Liberia grows exponentially and with the introduction of many new technologies and advanced gaming machines as well as the availability of online gaming, the need for a highly skilled workforce at the National Lottery Authority that can effectively monitor, detect fraud, defective machines, develop, design and maintain cutting-edge games and platforms is crucial and even more cardinal.
“To keep pace with this growing demand, NLA must actively upskill its workers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to create innovative gaming experiences that keep players and actors engaged professionally; intensive local and international training and capacity building programs will help employees develop new skills that are needed to keep up with the latest technological advancements and industry trends. These programs include workshops, seminars, online and in persons international courses among other forms of training that allow employees to broaden their knowledge-base and level up their expertise in various areas, Hon. Fahnbulleh concluded’.
